Sitting high above the street and surrounded by a rock retaining wall, the home of Bob and Kassandra Berry has been chosen the Historic Hospital District Yard of the Month for October. Located at 1707 Cripple Creek in Irving, the landscape features ferns, aspidistra and colorful loripetilum. Framing the house on each side are kumquat trees which reward the Berrys with fruit occasionally. For color, the shade loving annuals, begonias and impatiens, are potted and placed for maximum impact in this lovely setting.

The Berrys have been in their home since the mid 90’s and are active in the recently organized neighborhood association.
