The Historic Hospital District has chosen the home of Dr. David and Vicki Tate at 1710 Timbers in Irving as the Yard of the Month for January.

Entrance to the home is a walk through a low rock wall with clipped trees and hedges. On a wall near the door grows a beautiful green aged magnolia espalier. The feature of the landscape at this time of year is a weeping youpon tree full of red berries which match the red of the door making a really artistic composition.
