The meticulously manicured home of Milton Murdock at 1524 Canyon Oaks has been selected the Historic Hospital District’s Yard of the Month for December.
Milton and his late wife, June, moved into their home in 1967. They loved doing their own landscaping and yard maintenance and this love shows in this beautiful home. The winter garden consists of clipped shrubbery and ground covers beneath towering oaks and cedar elms. During spring, summer and fall red geraniums surround the fountain at the southwest corner of the house and annuals fill an additional bed. This year round beauty is an asset to the neighborhood.
